Development
David S. Panthagani received a BS in Biomedical Engineering with a minor in Mathematics from the University of Houston (University Honors, Honors in Major). He has a strong background in noninvasive signals acquisition, system identification, fluid mechanics and thermodynamics. Current specialization and interests include noninvasive imaging and integrated signals analysis for CV risk assessment and health management, ischemic conditioning therapies, and consumer oriented technologies empowering the ‘Quantified Self / Quantified Physician’ movement. He is also a capable programmer in MATLAB and C/C++. Using these skills he helped create a computer interfaced temperature and bio-resistance measurement system capable of tracking and predicting ovulation. Working with The Methodist Hospital Research Institute he also created an algorithm for digital dental model alignment used during surgical simulations. He was the founding vice president of the Biomedical Engineering Society and Engineering World Health organization at the University of Houston. David would like to further his career and education in Biomedical Engineering, focusing on preventive healthcare and quantified health maintenance technologies
