Albert Yen, M.D.

Vice President of Medical Affairs

Dr. Yen is a Physician Scientist with over 10 years of experience in basic and clinical research trial design, medical device commercialization, and small business administration. Prior to joining the Fairway management team, he performed research studies on neurodegenerative conditions at Methodist Hospital Research Institute in the Texas Medical Center and also worked with a proteomics company based in The Woodlands, Texas. He received his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine and also completed his Neurology residency and Clinical Neurophysiology fellowship training there.  His other research interests include stroke and cerebrovascular disease, traumatic brain injury, primary headache disorders, and urological neuromodulation.

 Dr. Yen currently serves as Fairway’s VP of Medical Affairs, as well as Chairman of the Fairway IACUC (Animal Use and Care Committee).
